Olusola Oyemade, M.D. graduated from Edinburgh University,Edinburgh, Scotland in 1967.He did his residency in Pediatrics at Buffalo Children's Hospital ,Buffalo, New York and fellowship in Pediatric Nephrology at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. as well as a Pediatric Research Fellowship at Children's Hospital, Los Angeles. 

He also obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland in 1971. He was Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University and Meharry Medical School from 1971-'72 and was appointed Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Director of Ambulatory Pediatrics at Howard University School of Medicine, a position he held from 1972-'76.

From 1977-'83, he was Senior Lecturer/Consultant in Pediatrics at the University College Hospital,Ibadan, Nigeria,but returned to the U.S. where he has been in private practice of Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

During this period he also served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Loma Linda University for some years. He has continued to teach medical students and residents as well as presented some scientific papers .He has been closely involved in the drug development at IMI, where he serves as one of the Directors. 

He has authored several scientific papers, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics,and of the West African College of Pediatrics.
